Compare power inverters, inverter chargers, hybrid units and selected battery packages from AIMS Power, SungoldPower and Humless. An inverter converts stored DC energy to AC output; it does not generate or replenish that energy by itself. Choose the exact electrical configuration before comparing price.

Buying and planning guide

Match the battery and AC output

Confirm nominal DC input voltage, battery compatibility, output voltage and frequency. A 12V, 24V or 48V unit is not a drop-in substitute for the others. Specialty negative-48V rack equipment serves a different application from ordinary positive-voltage battery systems. Check single-phase or split-phase requirements for the intended loads.

Compare continuous output and surge

Size for simultaneous running loads and motor-starting requirements, not a surge number alone. Review pure-sine versus modified-sine output and the appliance manufacturer's requirements. The same rated wattage does not make two inverters equivalent for sensitive electronics or motor loads.

Choose the functions you need

An inverter charger may include AC charging, while a solar or hybrid model may add particular solar-input or transfer functions. Verify the actual model's features, operating modes and input limits. A hybrid label does not automatically establish grid-export approval or backup capability in every configuration.

Plan the complete system

Include compatible batteries, charging sources, appropriately rated conductors, disconnects and protection. Use a qualified installer for fixed household wiring. Compare home solar packages or the wider backup-power collection when selecting the rest of the system.
