Deli slices or jerky strips?

The LEM BigBite 10-inch slicer and 12-inch slicer use circular blades for adjustable slices. Blade diameter is not the maximum size of every food you can process; confirm carriage space, permitted foods and thickness settings in the exact model’s instructions.

The electric 2-in-1 tenderizer/slicer performs a different task: tenderizing meat or cutting suitable meat into jerky strips. It is not a replacement for a deli-style circular-blade slicer.

Plan space, power and cleaning

Measure the appliance footprint and leave room to move the carriage and remove parts for cleaning. Confirm the electrical supply and duty-cycle limits. Use the food holder and guards as instructed, unplug before cleaning or servicing, and follow the manufacturer’s procedure for sharp-blade handling. Do not assume a slicer can process bones or fully frozen meat.
