DuroMax XP13500iHT Tri Fuel Inverter Generator
Keep essential circuits and electronics supplied through a longer outage
An outage can leave you choosing between running the refrigerator, keeping a well pump available, and powering the electronics you use to stay informed. The XP13500iHT combines 120/240V inverter output with three fuel choices, so you can plan around stored gasoline or propane and an appropriately sized natural-gas connection. Its inverter design makes it a useful choice when low harmonic distortion matters alongside household backup capacity.
Choose your fuel and size your loads
Peak output covers brief starting demand. Running output is the sustained limit, and it changes with the fuel. Add the running watts of simultaneous loads, allow for motor starts, and check the rating of the outlet and cable you will use.
| Fuel | Starting / peak watts | Running watts |
|---|---|---|
| Gasoline | 13,500 W | 10,500 W |
| Propane | 12,750 W | 10,000 W |
| Natural Gas | 11,500 W | 9,000 W |
The manufacturer rates gasoline operation at 10.8 hr at 50% load. Actual runtime varies with load, fuel, temperature, and operating conditions.
Natural-gas installation requires 6–9 inches of water column supply pressure and a supply sized for 225,000 BTU at full load. Have a qualified gas professional check the meter, line size, and other appliances sharing the supply.
Check the fit before you order
- Have a qualified electrician select the transfer switch or interlock, inlet, and cable for home connections. These are separate installation items; never backfeed a wall outlet.
- Each receptacle has its own current limit. Multiple outlets do not increase the generator’s total running capacity.
- Allow room to move and operate the generator safely. The wheel kit assists positioning; this is still heavy equipment.

Included equipment
Generator, wheel and handle kit, starting battery, propane connection equipment, remote control, basic setup tools, and owner’s manual. A natural-gas hose is also included.
Fuel, a propane cylinder, household transfer equipment, and installation are not included. Follow the manual’s oil fill, setup, and maintenance instructions before the first start.
Delivery and manufacturer warranty
Free curbside delivery is available within the contiguous United States, excluding California. These models are not offered for California delivery; Alaska, Hawaii, and territories are outside this offer.
The manufacturer provides a 5-year residential parts warranty to the original purchaser. Commercial or unusually heavy use is limited to 1 year. Warranty freight is the equipment owner’s responsibility; exclusions and claim terms are in the linked warranty.
Safe outdoor operation
Operate outdoors at least 20 feet from the home, with exhaust directed away from doors, windows, and vents. Never operate in a home, garage, or other enclosed space. CO shutdown is an added safeguard and does not make indoor operation safe.
