Required quantities: 42-inch New Age firebox: 5 pails. The chimney requires an additional pail for every 4 ft of chimney; extra pails are not included in the package. If you choose kit only, purchase the required mortar separately; it may also be available through local masonry suppliers. Check the installation instructions for exact project needs. The New Age™ Zero Clearance Fireplace from Stone Age Manufacturing is a 42" indoor masonry fireplace kit built for people who want something solid, reliable, and built to last. This is the firebox kit itself — the main unit — and it’s designed to be finished out with a full chimney and the other components needed to complete the installation.
Please note: The base-priced option includes the fireplace kit only. The separate mortar package includes mortar for the firebox; chimney pieces, additional chimney mortar, firebrick, damper, outside air kit, and finish materials are not included and must be purchased separately.
