These shelters are intended for DIY installation. Once you've finished installing the shelter as a do-it-yourself project, it's important to have it inspected by a qualified professional. You can contact your local building inspector or find an engineer or architect nearby. If you need a list of pre-approved installation companies, you can visit www.nssa.cc. After completing and sending both the installation and final inspection checklists to us, the NSSA type 4 seal will ensure your warranty. We'll send you the NSSA type 4 seal and a Certificate of Installation once we receive both checklists. Keep in mind, to be eligible for the Limited Lifetime Storm Damage Replacement Benefit, it's crucial to follow all installation procedures and provide documented proof to us.
