A discharged battery can put a utility cart or other essential electric equipment out of service when you need it. The Dual Pro i4818CH provides automatic 48V charging at up to 18 amps, so you can restore a compatible battery system between uses and monitor charging progress on the charger.

This portable Eagle Performance model combines a carry handle, a fan-cooled enclosure and selectable charging profiles. It is suited to a sheltered charging area at a workshop, garage or homestead.

Match the charger to your battery

Use this model only with a matching 48V battery system. Choose the correct flooded lead-acid, AGM, gel or manufacturer-approved LiFePO4 profile through PROView Link before charging. LiFePO4 use requires a suitable battery management system and battery-manufacturer approval for the charger output. A plug that fits does not establish electrical compatibility.

Check the battery’s maximum permitted charge current, polarity and wiring. Automatic maintenance functions depend on the selected charging profile. Follow the manual and battery manufacturer’s instructions.

Choose the DC cable option

The charger-only option does not include a DC charging cable. The SB50 receptacle is built into the charger housing. Choose the cable package to add one Dual Pro 602SB50GRY 7-foot charging cable with a black charger-end connector and a black/gray-compatible SB50 battery connection. Check connector keying and polarity before ordering. Other connector colors and vehicle-specific plugs require a different cable.

Use in a sheltered charging area

The Performance enclosure is water resistant. Keep it protected from rain, spray and immersion, and leave space around the cooling vents. Choose an Eagle HF model if your installation needs an IP67-rated charger. Use the grounded, protected AC supply specified in the manual.

Shipping and warranty

Standard ground shipping is $49.95 per order for this charger shipping group within the contiguous United States and Washington, DC. The final charge appears at checkout. Orders containing both charger groups or another supplier’s products may have combined shipping charges.

Typical processing is 1–2 business days, with most ground deliveries taking a further 3–7 business days after dispatch. Availability, holidays and destination can affect these estimates.

A three-year manufacturer limited warranty applies to standard new chargers used in the USA, subject to the terms in the manual.
